Jaglah Sterile Consulting takes a holistic approach in analyzing the current operational processes within the sterile processing department following the recommendations of AMMI, Joint Commission, Department of Health, AORN, OSHA, Hospital Policies and Procedure to ensure the delivery of safe surgical instrumentation and equipment’s needed for patient care.
John Atta Aglah, who is the founder and President of Jaglah Sterile Consultancy has over 10years of experience in the central sterile field. He holds MBA, BBA,CRCST, CIS, CHL, from Monroe College and the International Association of The Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) [formerly the International Association of Healthcare Central Service Materiel Management (IAHCSMM) ] respectively.
Throughout his career in sterile processing, he has held positions such as technician, Supervisor, Manager and Director and has help transformed some major facilities such as Staten Island University Hospital North, Manhattan Eye Ear and Throat Hospital, Lenox Hill Hospital, all within the New York City with record of going through multiple Joint Commission and department of health surveys successfully.
As a consultant and subject expert,John Aglah has successfully trained over 200 students from various backgrounds into the Streile Processing industry with 90% Success rate.
