Terms and Conditions

1. Purpose of Agreement

This agreement outlines the terms and conditions under which JSPC will provide educational and preparatory services for the Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or related Sterile Processing Technician certification, and the conditions under which hands-on training (externship) will be provided.

2. Program Overview

JSPC offers a Sterile Processing Technician Training Program designed to prepare students for the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) State Board Exam.

The training includes classroom instruction, review sessions, and exam preparation materials.

3. Hands-On Training Eligibility

Hands-on clinical externship or internship training will only be offered after the Student has successfully passedthe HSPA State Board Exam.

Proof of passing the exam (official results or verification from HSPA) must be submitted to JSPC in a timely manner.

This condition is intended to encourage exam readiness and ensure proper foundational knowledge before entering a healthcare environment.

4. Student Responsibilities

The Student agrees to:

Attend all required lectures and classes in accordance with the program schedule.
Actively participate in classroom discussions, labs, and review sessions.
Pay all applicable tuition and fees as agreed in the Tuition Agreement (separate document).
Register and sit for the HSPA State Board Exam within a reasonable time after course completion.
Submit official proof of exam success before requesting or beginning externship placement.

5. JSPC Responsibilities

JSPC agrees to:

Provide high-quality instruction, guidance, and preparatory support for the HSPA exam.
Issue a Certificate of Completion upon successful program completion.
Facilitate placement for hands-on training only for students who meet the requirement of passing the HSPA exam.
Assist in securing placement through JSPC’s network of clinical affiliates, subject to availability.

6. No Guarantee of Employment

While JSPC supports career readiness and may assist with job referrals, this agreement does not guarantee employment upon program completion or externship participation.

7. Termination Policy

JSPC reserves the right to terminate a student’s enrollment or deny externship placement under the following conditions:

Violation of academic, professional, or ethical standards
Failure to pass the HSPA State Board Exam
Non-payment of tuition
Disruption or misconduct during the program

8. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of New York.

9. Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions represent the entire agreement between you and JSPC regarding enrollment and training. It supersedes any prior oral or written agreements.
